I have a very small bathroom. The position of the soil pipe, bath, window etc means that space is at a premium and dictates that the low level cistern and sink are mounted on the same wall.
At present I have a thin but wide space saving low level cistern and a basin so small half the water ends up on the floor. I would like to install a larger basin and so need a smaller cistern to free up space. I’ve searched for compact low level china cisterns and it seems the choice is extremely limited. They are smaller but not as small as some of the close couple cisterns I’ve seen.
Could I use a close couple cistern in place of a low level cistern? I have strong wall brackets that the cistern could bolt on to via the 2 bolts in place of a low level pan. Could I then buy low level flush pipe fittings to attach the flush pipe?
Advice would be much appreciated.
