Potential Gutter renewal problems

Hi all!

We are looking into having our guttering renewed on our semi.
Hopefully things will go to plan A!

Plan A: all guttering is replaced and neighbour coughs up half the cost no problem. sorted!

However i dont know where i stand if she aint keen on coughing up.
Can we get just our half done in any way?
Does the fact that the current guttering could be asbestos make it impossible??

No, a competent fitter should be able to fit the appropriate connector sealing it properly. Just make sure you get someone decent to do the job and not just Bill and Ted. You Don't want them bashing the hell out of your asbestos guttering to get it off the house
