I have just had a brand new Poterton30 suprima installed. It was out of warranty and been sitting around, but it was new and sealed in the box the Lone Ranger and Tonto came & installed it. It worked fine for a few hours then would switch its self off, called Lone Ranger to come round and have a look, he said the gas valve had gone £108 so he replaced it now it still seems to have a mind of its own. It fires up then after a couple of hours turns off again, the only way I can get it to start again is to cut the power switch leave it for about 10minutes and if I'm extremely lucky it will fire up again.

Im bloody freezing and so is my gfreinds small person! I am finacially ruined for Xmas! I really would appreciate any advice you could give me guys thankyou in advance

Firstly call the people who installed the boiler and then changed the gas valve. Ask for £108 to be refunded otherwise call CORGI and have a talk with them

Your post does not give any clue apart from the fact that you are freezing and financially ruined for 25th

What has been connected to the boiler, any radiators getting hot, what about the pipes to the radiators- are these getting hot. HW cylinder- do the pipes (on the side) get hot?
