My Potterton Suprima has failed, and going by what I've read from past posts on this and other forums, I think the fault lies with the Air Pressure Switch.

I have now removed the switch. What's the best way of testing it?

Is it possible to connect together the two wires from the switch? If the boiler operates correctly, wouldn't this indicate that the problem lie with the switch?

A stable pressure source, a pressure gauge which resolves to 0.01mbar, and a storage oscilloscope.

Failing that, the instructions and a £5 voltmeter.

Fraid not.
