I've been told by two seperate Corgi registered gas engineers that I need a new circuit board for my 4 year old Potterton Suprima 30 boiler, at a cost of £250.00 plus installation, which presumebly will take it over the £300.00 mark. Yet one of the said engineers told me that if I contact Potterton they will call round AND install the new circuit board at a TOTAL COST of £170.00.
Can this be correct? Suppose I could always phone Potterton to find out but I fear there may be a catch.
