I've come back from a few days away and the boiler seems to have given up the ghost.

The control panel is working - lights are coming on, but it's not firing up to heat the hot water on demand and the heating has not come on.

The pressure is fine - anyone have any idea what could be wrong (apart from it being extremely old)

many thanks

try re-setting it first, it can be red or black. when you find them if there press it back in again. failing that it could be a few things

hmm reset what exactly? Not sure what you mean?

boiler have a tender to shut them selves down. take the baxi 105 it shuts down all the time. try turning your boiler off at the spur for 1 min. Look for any kind of re-se switch.

i think there will be a little red button that may have popped out, simply press the red button back in again. I aint sure on the model as i repair hundreds of boilers and its hard to remember them all, but look under the boiler for a little red pop up button, or on top of the boiler, or just inside the fron case...
