POTTERTON NETAHEAT 10-16 - NO HEAT

Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help. I have a potterton Netaheat 10-16 boiler. The water is still getting hot and it fires up but it does not make the radiators heat.

Can anybody shed any light on this as I can't get anybody out to look at it till the middle of next week.

should I be able to tell if the pump is running by putting my hand on it

Normally yes, if it;'s got a big shiny screw in the middle you can unscrew it and check if the shaft is going round, put a rag under it as it will dribble water, if it's not you can put a thinner screwdriver down the middle and try turning the shaft to see if it's stuck, if the pump has power to it and isnt working it's either stuck or nackered.

Check the motorised valve is working on the heating.
