Had a look on here last night and found the correct and wonderful name for the brass restricting thingy in the silicone tube to the APS. I know what it does etc and have been calling it a restricting tube for eons but the name I found was superb but I cant remember it or find it. Anyone?

Fan to 30 - 80 range. The boiler I looked at today has had a new fan but there is no gasket between fan and flue box, I have looked on the exploded parts diagrams but it doesn't show one. Anyone know before I have to phone baxi-potty for answer.

Cheers.

Why do you think a gasket is required between fan and plate?

NO YOU DO NOT NEED A GASKET ON THIS BOILER , you of all people should no why it is not required , you posted in here before you put it in the CC , obviously I didn't know you were gas safe so couldn't explain why that boiler doesn't require a gasket between fan and plate , go into the CC and have a look why the gasket is not required , dumb answer my arse , more like dumb question.
