I have a Potterton Promax ultra 40 boiler, its a year and a half old.
We have never had any issue with it up until a day ago and we noticed intermitently its been making quite a loud rummbling sound, similar to when it turns on to heat the water but louder and for a bit longer, alkso if you are in the next room you can feel the vibration from it.
i havn't pinpointed it down to just heating the water because i have seen it come on 'normal' but havn't been abke to catch seeing it just before this noise starts.
The only thing really different at the moment is the very cold weather we have got and wondered if it may have anything to do with it at all?
Or does this sound like something that really needs looking at?
Regards
James
