my boiler started leaking water from the cold water main inlet into the boiler(it's the water inlet shut off valve thats leaking) and the boiler light came on saying low system pressure.
i have checked all the electrics (as you do when your an electrician!)
went through the boiler manual but to no avail.
can anyone please point me in the right direction.
many thanks

assuming you have your leak fixed, you need to re pressureise the system, search these forums for filing loop and or low presure

no i did'nt fix the leaks but i will now.
thanks for the advice :D

The main CW boiler input is NOTHING to do with the system pressure!

Yes you have to get the system pressure right - around 0.7 - 1 bar when boiler is cold. If the pressure gauge indicates OK but the low P light is still on the pressure switch is blocked or bust. As a temporary measure only, you can unplug the switch from the board - lower left of pcb, just 2 pin connector, yellow wires.
