I am not a plumber or heating engineer, thats EXACTLY the same boiler as we have. Have you checked the presure in the pressure vessel (big orange thing at the back with a tyre valve on it)
If the pressure goes above 3 bar then it should be squirting hot water out of the pressure releif pipe - outside. Otherwise you have a bomb in your house.
Several things could be causing the overheat - check the pump's turning (unscrew centre screw & poke summat in)
And Breezer is right about the pressure vessel precharge. Pump to about 0.7 bar after letting water out so pressure on gauge is 0. (cold!)
