Hi guys
I have a Potterton Statesman Flowsure, which has an unusual leak.
With the CH system up to pressure, 0.8bar, rising to 1.3bar when heating switched on, all appears to work ok. After about 7 - 14 days, the upstairs bathroom radiator is only hot at the bottom, There appears to be no change in pressure. I then bleed this radiator and air is expelled and the pressure drops a little. The radiator is then hot for a couple of weeks and then the cycle repeats until the system pressure drops to zero (after about 3 cycles of the above).
I can find no obvious leak. I would have expected the pressure to drop prior to bleeding if there was one. Can anyone suggest what might be happening?
