Hello all,
Great site, hoping you might offer me some advice. I have a Potterton Suprima 100 and it would appear that the heat exchanger has started to leak. I had a friend who is a gas engineer come round who said that a new heat exchanger would be in excess of £300 for the part alone. He suggested that I sack the boiler off for a new one, my issue is that I am selling my house, the sale is due to go through within a matter of weeks. I have seen a reconditioned part online however this is part number 248503 and the heat exchanger looks different to mine. Obviously you'd think that it therefore not the right part for my boiler. When I hunt for the part number online heating part sites always tell me that 248503 is the correct part number and has superseded the original part number. Is there some sort of upgrade kit to allow me to use 248503 in my boiler.
Yours
Dom
