Hello, I'm new to the forum and hope you will be able to help me.
I've recently moved house and inherited a Potterton Suprima 70L boiler. It is working fine but is controlled by timer only, which is OK for the hot water, but it also means the heating is either on or off, which means it can get too warm at times. I have TRV's fitted but I've never been convinced that they work that well. Consequently, I'd like to fit an external thermostat to control the heating only. I'd like the HW to remain on the timer but run the CH via the thermostat but I'm not sure if it's possible with this boiler or how the thermostat should be wired in, as the wiring diagram in the manual doesn't seem to give any clues.
Can anyone help?
