Had a look at other posts but couldn't find one to match the symptom of my boiler problem.
Got a Potterton Suprima 80 boiler which is around 11 years old. The PCB was replaced just under 3 years ago. Recently noticed that the water wasn't heating up properly and saw that the boiler would fire up (after flashing orange/green for about 15 secs) but then cut out (after about 30 secs) and this happened several times on the trot even though the water was only tepid and was nowhere near the tank thermostat temperature (58). Eventually, the boiler fired up and stayed on for a good period of time. Similar problem occurred one night with the central heating, but hasn't recurred (and hopefully won't again!). The system has not locked out (Red) and not had to be reset at any time.
The fault finding chart that came with the replacement PCB doesn't cover this type of situation. Any idea of what could be at fault would be gratefully received.
