Power showers noisy ?

I was thinking of fitting a non electric power shower and was wondering are they very noisy ? if you take the letter L as bathroom walls the long line will be a bedroom wall and the short line where the shower will be fitted is a corridor wall will it disturb the people sleeping in the adjacent bedroom even though the shower is not directly on their wall ? as we have low hot water pressure and wanted a good shower.

Will i still need an electric supply for pump, i was going to put it where sink is currently is it ok to use sink hot & cold pipes ?

You say low hot water pressure, but what about the cold pressure?
If that's pretty good why not think about a venturi shower.
