Have had a call from a plumber mate. He will be installing an Unvented High Pressure Heating system.

Apparently these often require there only sub main.

Can anyone shed some light on it for me or point me where to look for some technical info on the supply and associated system

Cheers

What make? Megaflo or similar? They all come with a wiring diagram & info.

Usually only has an immersion (separate circuit) and an interlock from the CH (DHW) wiring. More info please!!

There are things like this:
http://www.dimplex.co.uk/products/water_heating/SCx_range/index.htm
which are electrically the same as a normal immersion, 2x 16A circuits, one for off peak and the other to top up during the day.

Duel systems can be done via 1 x 20a radial c/o MK. There's no need to wire both sides, since it's a either 'on' rather than both at the same time.

Yes, but anyfurther input is pointless until we know what sort of system it is..

My breath is bated, while I wait for more info.......
