I've done at least a hundred successful flushes and have been on the Kamco powerflush day course but something has happened a couple of times that even they can't explain.
If poss, I'll flush with heating on. I have experienced twice the flow of the heated water took only the path at the bottom of each 'full' rad. The rest of the rad was col. Likewise, when flushing, the bottom of the rad was cold from the incoming water being pumped. Draining the whole system was the only way to get rid of the chemicals. When I refilled the system circulation was normal (pretty much as before!!)
The chemicals used were Sentinel X800 and the other time Kamco One Shot.
