PowerMax 155 Vented system

Problem with water hammer on Hot water supply. If hot water tap is turned-on fully water hammer noise seems to eminate from the boiler. I have changed the stop cock on the mains supply but this has had no effect.

Any suggestions?

? if it hammers when taps are fully on then the pipework is not installed properly, (knocking). if it hammers when you close the tap the one of your taps on the system could be faulty but if its comming from inside the boiler get it checked these boilers contain a lot of hot water under pressure.
