PowerMax Complete Siren Removal

Hi there,
This maybe a stupid question.

I have a Visionic Powermax Complete of which I want to completely remove the MCS-700 External siren from the front elevation. If I deroll the siren from the system can I remove the box cover then unscrew and remove from the wall without any sirens going off (internal / external) ? worried about tamper switches etc..

De roll the siren, Tamper switch will still activate on the external siren once front lid is removed. Just unplug the battery
