Came across this product whilst looking for something else on Google the other day...

I remember seeing the inventor on Dragons Den. I don't think it went to well but I don't trust contrived TV productions personally, I know how they work!
The product looks good and the science behind it is feasible in my limited understanding!


Has anyone on here ever fitted one for themselves and or a customer?

If so, any good? Did you start specifying them to further customers? Would you?

I'm intrigued but would want to get one on trial and test it out on a family Guinea pig first

Done friends have one and u suppose it's the best they can do with their existing system.

My missus would never accept a shower performance of that level though.

That's the thing! I have a bathroom refurb coming up and customer's pressure & flow is pants!

7-10 year old Vaillant Eco combi in attic.

Affinity water are due to install a meter but she shares with 3 other houses so they're gonna put it in under sink in kitchen! Despite our attempts to cajole them (through customer) to put in a dedicated supply.

So, I was wondering if one or two of these might avoid the need for a new main...

Rather a late reply, but I fitted a couple of these in tandem nearly two years ago and I have been very pleased with the results. There were other mods I made at the time to improve the flow. I wrote the following to the guy who designed them:

“Hi Alan,
Thank you very much for supplying the power shower boosters. I was a little skeptical about them – which is why I decided to fit two in-line boosters to my gravity feed hot water. Having now fitted them, I find them very effective. So here is one more positive review for your collection!
I have just installed a new shower bath and fitted a Pegler Haze shower mixer tap that operates down to 0.1 bar. The supplied shower hose was only 8mm. I have a ½” cold water supply and ľ” hot water supply with an estimated head of about 3m to the mixer tap. I measured the flow from both tap and shower rose at the mixer tap level. The flow from the tap increased from 8.33 to 9.09 L/min (9.1%) and from the shower rose increased from 4.20 to 6.66 L/min (58.9%). Changing the shower hose to 10mm increased the flow by a further 11.1%. When allowing for mixing, I calculate that the total flow cold+hot increases 66.3%. Furthermore, adjustment of temperature is less sensitive. Whereas without the pump, I had to set the cold tap at 25% open, it now needs to be set at 39% open.
These measurements present the situation at the mixer tap level. I did not measure at the shower rose level because I did not want to hold a 10L bucket of water at head height! However, in use the flow is subjectively much more at the shower rose than before. It is a much greater improvement than at the tap level. I reckon it has about doubled the overall flow.
I installed the boosters under the bath. They are barely audible, even before fitting the bath panels. The sound is reminiscent of a couple of Scalextric cars running round a track!”
