Hi guy's, just started on the downstairs cloakroom. I've ripped off all the tiles & it's a bit of a mess underneath & i am not sure i have helped by trying to get the wall reasonable level for the plasterer(not got one yet). Should i continue or wait until i get a plasterer round?

The other thing is part of one wall has been boarded. One photo is from the other side of board in another cupboard. Should that be replaced or would a plasterer be able to use it?

I've put a couple of photos up to see what i mean. Cheers for any replies

Walls I would leave for plasterer as they may have a preference on installation type and finish. As for the wall with the hole, if the plasterer is plastering the same wall, then you could fill in with thermalite blocks and leave the rest for them?

Cheers CBW, many thanks

OP,
There's a few visible problems that will probably need fixing/changing eg. is the plumbing and fixtures being left in place or will the room be void?
Are fixture positions being changed?
Where does the floor/the window/the doorway/the ceiling/ the electrics(eg. vanity mirror) come into play?
Painted areas will need skimming - dont skim tiled areas.

The sink + waste + hot/cold are coming out. I'm planning to put a toilet/sink Combi unit in. That's going where toilet is now. I could rip everything out before plasterer tip's up, shouldn't be much of an issue.
