Hi i am soon to be tackling the kitchen floor, at the moment it is covered in brown 'marley' tiles. I have to add a 6mm layer of WEDI insulation to it which i have been told i can stick down with flexible tile adhesive. My question is what do i do with the existing floor do i rip the tiles up, latex it and then stick the insulation on the new surface or do i just stick straight to the bitumen ??? after the insulation im going to install the underfloor heating onto its face then self levelling over that and tile in the normal way. Does this sound right to you all? ANy help appreciated
