Hello,

I've booked a tiler to come and lay tiles on my kitchen floor in a new build home. However, there were some cracks in the concrete so I got the developers to fill these with liquid grout. Now there is approximately 1mm tihick grout above the concrete probably covering at least 3 m2 in total of the 20 m2 floor. Would this effect the job? Does it need sanding down (or else?) before the tiler arrives? or is this something that tilers encounter and rectify as part of their job?

Your tiler should be able to deal with floor being 1mm out.
I would call and inform them though, just out of courtesy.
