Pressure problem

I have a Vokera boiler which is very temperamental. The pressure seems to drop to almost nothing every few weeks or so and results in no hot water. I have used the filling loop to increase the pressure to 1-1.5 bar but the problem keeps re-occurring. Most recently I have increased the pressure and now the boiler makes a very noisy rattling noise, I suspect I've increased the pressure too much. Any help would be much appreciated.
