Everywhere sells pressure washers now. You can get them at Argos, Homebase, Tescos, everywhere. People buy them, then plug them in to their outdoor tap to do outdoor stuff, like wash the car or patio.
Can anyone see where I am going with this? AFAIK outdoor taps are usually spurred off the mains-feed running to the kitchen.
As we all know, it is illegal to pump mains water, so how do pressure washer manufacturers and retailers get around the glaring fact, that people will be connecting these high-powered pumps to the mains water supply? Or are they designed with an inbuilt tank that isolates the pump from mains water supply?
