Old (upstairs) radiator was leaking, so I switched it off and left it for a while because I was going away.
Went away, switched the central heating off. Came back, central heating not working. Not firing up.
Bled the radiators. Downstairs - no problem. Upstairs there is a gush of air but no water (is the air gushing in or out?) After bleeding (I think) the central will fire up - but it does not last.
I have now removed the old radiator and capped off the TRV end which was dripping a bit.
Any idea what is going on with the Central heating, is it to do with water pressure or air in the system, and does it make any difference to how I should proceed?
