Prima F Boiler outside fumes smelling of gas

Hi I recently move to this house with a Prima F 12 year old bolier and have noticed a smell of unburnt gas coming from the balanced flue outlet, I find it strange as the boiler is lighting OK and the flames appear nice and blue, and with it being a sealed boiler surely any gas is ignited before being exhausted.

Any ideas

Turn it off NOW It could explode. .I've seen it and it isn't pretty.
Call a corgi reg'd engineer who will know what to do.
It's probably a faulty gas valve - not the end of the world.

Unless you keep using it, then it might be.
