I have a Potterton Prima F boiler (about 6 years old) and over the last few weeks, although still working perfectly, there has been lots a clicking coming from inside the boiler. Then this morning when I realise that there was no hot water, I went and checked the boiler and noticed that the Pilot light was not lit.
I tried turning the heating and hot water off and on, but with not success.
When I turn on the heating normally the pilot ignites, however the boiler is making a crunching sounding, as if a switch is grinding rather than the normal clicking sound.
Any suggestions?
