My Prima F is still going strong and I have been advised not to rush to replace it.
However it has developed an irritating fault. When it runs on hot water only- all this fine weather - there doesn't seem to be enough circulation to allow the thermostat to switch it and so the "emergency" reset clicks off. So no shower when I get home.
I have flushed the system and the return pipe from the indirect tank heats up. No reason to suspect the pump is fault but am tempted to swap it out as a precaution. (Do pumps lose efficiency or do they just fail?)
I am wondering if the hw circuit is just too short.
Any thoughts please?
