Primatic problems.

First time on this site, so lets see how good you people are

From what i have just read it looks like the primatic system is not liked.
Unfortunately i will have to stick with it.
Plan of action is to fit 2 new radiators, and flush the pipes and put in an inhibitor.

i need to know how to drain the system.
(found lowest pipes with drain valves but 2 of them which do i use?)

How do you put the flushing fluid in?
(i have found 2 large diameter pipes with taps inline, one feeds the cold water to the boiler and the other supplys the cistern tank. I was thinking of pre mixing the fluid with a small amount of water, removing the tap housing and pouring into the pipe, but if this correct, which one?)

Never fitted a new radiator, the 2 i have just bought a very heavy, do they come filled with some kind of liquid? Also i notice there is no bleed valve at the top of the radiator, do i have to buy this separetly?
Any advice for fitting a rad would be good

i am also fitting thermostatic valves to all my rads at the same time. I need a good way to find out which pipe coming into my existing rads is the feed pipe.

i also noticed whilst reading the instructions for fitting the thermo valves, is to fit a 0.2 bar pressure regulator to stop noise problems? Is this necessary and how and where is it fitted?

Sorry for the big ask but i need to sort this out pdq.

Primatic systems are not recommended for the diyer.
You cannot put flushing fluid as there is a risk of contaminating the DHW as there is only an air bubble separating the DHW from the central heating.
My advice to you is to hang rads on the wall yourself and call a plumber to do the rest

Sorry but i find the average plumber totally thick! i have past experience to prove this and shoddy work to see all so. i will not have plumber in my house again, except for gas problems. So i will hope someone will advise, thanks anyway.

do yourself a favour, I have just had a new combi boiler put in after nitemares with my primatic system. It had sludge in and could not be power flushed

The previous poster is right, you cannot put chemicals in a primatic system. There is a risk of contamination of your fresh water tank.

If you go ahead with this idea on your own you could end up in a mess. I am not a plumber, just a victim of a primatic system. Just laid out a lot of money for upgrade which has been done this week.

Yes, never done it before, lacked a little confidence , but hey just sorted it no problem and i even did a good job

Found a decent plumber today, explained what is what with the primatic system and as you good people have stated, inhibitors are a no no
Said it was probably better to remove the rads and flush out the pipes. So subject to cost, i will let the plumber sort it, what a turn around
