Probelm with hotpoint Aquarius WF210

Hi guys,

I've had my hotpoint Aquarius WF210 for afew years now, and jusr recently it's developed a problem. It seems to start as normal, but after a minute the on/off light and time saver light flash, and the machine stops. Does anyone know how to rectify this?

Also another problem that it's had for some time is after the cycle is complete the door remains locked - we've been getting round this by powering off at the plug - but while I'm here asking I thought I'd throw that one in too!

f11 lights 1&3&4, pump/draining error
f12 lights 1&2, communication error
f13 lights 1&2&4, dryer ntc/ fan motor
f14 lights 1&2&3, dryer heater
f15 lights 1&2&3&4, dryer heater relay
f16 N/A
f17 light 4, door lock
f18 light 3 comms error (3 phase motor) power board

f1 and f17 share the same light

Do you know how to get the fluff out from around the drum on an Aquarius tumble dryer ?

hoover with a thin end or total strip down ,side panel off drum out ,front panel off .that t dryer is 10 years old .its not worth it unless you are good with a screw driver.

Thanks - I am good with a screwdriver but not sure its worth the hassle. I already hoover by pushing a hoover hose as far as I can down the vent duct. I thought there might be an easier way to get access to the enclosure around the drum which I suspect would need to be cleaned. Or does the dryer tend to " self clean " in that area ?

Thanks again for the advice - Can't really afford a new dryer at the moment.

take the lid off and try and hoover what you can see most of the fluff goes out the vent hose thats all you need to do .
