I have a Roca closed couple toilet, with i think has a Roca "dual" flush, two little buttons on top, one for full flush, one for half. Internal overflow as part of the flush, its white in colour(!) and when you press down to flush the bit that comes up is blue to let the water out. The problem being it seems to be constantly overflowing. I figured it was due to the inlet, so i replaced the Fluidmaster Valve, with a new one, like for like. Its like the old ball valve except the float rises on a tube which lets the water in, its black and grey in colour. However, it has made no difference. I have tried adjusting the height of the fluidmaster, i have fiddled with the height of the float by means of a wire rod and little attachment you squeeze to allow you to move it.

Now, after you flush, it starts filling up yet water still comes through even though the float seems to be at the top and the little arm it rises cant go any higher, it still gently leaks out of the top of the fluidmaster, which in turn causes water to trickle down the overflow causing the most annoying trickling noise at 1 in morning!! Why is it doing this?!?

Either it has been fitted incorrectly, or it is faulty. See the manufacturer's instructions - if fitted correctly, then replace it with a new one and, optionally, return the faulty one to the retailer.

I just bought a new one, been looking up fluidmaster on the net all afternoon, and they seem to be the bomb!
The thing is i replaced it due to it dripping, and the old one was only two years old, seems a bit much to think i could be that unlucky?!?!

How could you see this being fitted incorrectly?

Is it anything to do with the height it is fitted? There was something on the instructions about the critical height being 25 mm higher than the over fall. It is pretty tight in the ciston height wise, but i have it set as high as possible!

I will give it an other fiddle tonight, and thanks loads for your help.
