Problem reading pdf's

Hi, I've got a newish PC running Windows 7 and when I try to open certain pdf's a message comes up saying there are known compatibility problems. If you take the option to search for a solution it doesn't come up with an answer and if you try to cancel you get the little spinning wheel thing and everything freezes for several minutes. Any ideas anyone

Have you got the latest Adobe reader installed?? If not , go to www.adobe.com and search for the latest reader.

Better still, uninstall Adobe Reader and get Foxit Reader from
http://filehippo.com/download_foxit/

Much smaller program that uses a lot less resources and does the same job as Adobe Reader.

Downloading the latest adobe reader worked thanks. I thought I already had it but apparently not.
