Problem with AEG Washing Machine - Done some basic checks

Hi,

The washer suddenly started having problems after 4 years.

It will fill up just fine but will not start the spin cycle/rotating the drum.

I then have to pump out to open the door, the pump operation also works fine, it just wont spin.

Ive tried it empty.

Ive cleaned the filter

Ive checked the positioning of the waste waste pipe

Ive checked the bushed and the look OK, not that ive seen any before.

I dont get any error messages on the screen, just a "1" where the time should be.

Can you help?

Post the model and pnc number (on a sticker in the door opening).
Are you trying to say you checked the motor brushes?...Is the drive belt in place?
