Hi there,
Having had the MIL round for Christmas, I decided against doing any washing at the time, thought it'd be less hassle. However, am now running out of socks, and seeking help!
The washing machine's old, yes, and has died on us before, but seems not to do anything now. I was stupid and overloaded the thing, so it wouldn't finish the spin - I split the load and finished half of it, then found the belt was off, so replaced that and finished the 2nd half of the load.
However, it now won't turn on properly. On turning the machine on, instead of the zero on the display for the programme number, I get a dot. This problem in previous years got solved by (a) turning it off and unplugging it and letting it reset and/or (b) making sure the door was opened and closed again properly. Neither solution works now, and I'm getting desperate for some clean clothes ...
Can anyone help me on this?
cheers,
