Problem with Hotpoint WF540 but no flashing lights

I've got a Hotpoint Aquarius WF540 1400 spin which fills with water and the drum rotates, but thats all it does. There are no flashing lights, however the door locked, wash, rinse & spin lights are all lit. This is the same whatever programme it's on. I've cleaned the filter, pipe and checked the electrical connections. Any help much appreciated.
