Got a Ferroli Tempra 30 system boiler on a S plan which is short cycling.
Pump makes a bit of a whining noise which comes and goes, tends to be worse just before the boiler shuts down.
Main prob is the short cycling though, it happens regardless if the system is calling for HW or CH or both.
CH flow temperature sensor next to the water pressure switch I think is ok, measured temp on the flow and its only getting to about 50 degrees C before boiler shuts down. Also bypassed it to make sure.
The boiler also has a limit thermostat & overheat cutoff thermostat up next to the heat exchanger. Could these be the cause?
