Hi from Australia,
Just wondering if there is anyway I can fix this problem myself without having to call in a plumber.
Problem is that tonight when turning off the garden tap (which is on the mains water run into the property) the water continues flowing and even fully tightened is still flowing fairly rapidly.
I have changed valves/washers in inside taps before but this is an old style of tap and I can not work out how to get the head off toreplace the washer etc (probably hasn't been touched for 30 years!). currently I have turned the water off to stop the leak.
Can I fix this myself or is it best to get a plumber.
thanks for any help on this !!!
