Problem with oveflow

Can anyone help - overflow is running almost all the time. I have changed the washers on the f & e tank and cold water storage, although this has had very little affect. There is warm water coming out of the cold water storage tank overflow and cold water coming out of the f & e tank overflow. Could it be the cylinder needs replacing - how can i do a final check to correctly diagnose that it is the cylinder. Any info would be gratefully appreciated

Hot water cyl coil could be leaking internally, but that wouldn't make them both overflow! Which is higher?

Warm water coming out of the f&e tank could be overheating of the boiler or the feed placed after the pump in stead of before. Do you have a potterton by any chance?

Isolate the feed & expansion tank (tie up the ball cock). Partially drain the central heating and observe the level in the F&E tank. If it empties then the chance of coil break are slim. Also watch if the overflowing stops.
