Could anyone please help me, I am decorating my living room, and i took the rad of the wall to paper hang, but one of the valves was leaking so i changed it, I turned the water supply off then connected a hose to a sort of "T" piece that has a square nut on it and ribbed outlet to allow you to push a hose on it, this is in line on the feed to the valve that was leaking,
So I emptied the system, changed the valve, then turned the rising main back on, now none of my rads work upstairs or down, but i have hot water,
My system is a baxi bermuda back boiler (gas) and a indirect system i think ( copper tank in airing cupboard, small plastic header tank in the loft)
please can anyone help me...

Air in the system- but you knew that! It's also very possible you have a blockage in the feed pipe Do a search on these items - lots has been posted.
