Had a front door made to measure - had to be outward opening. Ordered
from a company that advertises on the web for DIY doors etc. but not
having installed a UPVC door before didn't realise that it would be so
much hassle ! For a start I thought that it would come complete &
installed in frame ready to fit etc. but tho I have followed
instructions that came with it I still cannot get door to line up
properly + not drop ....
Yes I have *toe + heeled * panel according to instructions but don't
know whether or not this is the problem ? Also the UPVC glazing beads
seem harder to get in now ........ I made sure that the frame was
fitted plumb & square.....
Anyone here fitted one of these and could provide a few tips ?
Any help would be most appreciated thanks.

I'm sorry cant comment on fitting the door, as it's benn a while! However just to say that the glazing beads can be very tight to fit, that is quite normal. If I get really sruck, a tap onto a block of wood with a mallet works quiet well.

If the door is plumb and square then you probally aint packed it enough, think of toeing and heeling as a ledge and brase on a gate, the way i T + H a door is to pack the bottom then the lower hinge side, then the upper lock side, then i get a bit of wood under the door like a lever put a bit of weight on it with my foot then pack the gap tight at the top, only pack the bottom in 1 place on the side the door is hinged.

Ideally you want the mitres on the door to line up with the ones on the frame a touch higher is good too so if it does drop a bit then you're ok
