problems with engineered laminate floor on a suspended floor

hi, I have laid a chipboard floor on top of joists which have been infilled with100mm celotex. I have then laid an engineered laminate floof on top of this with a 6mm underlay between. The laminate board has now expanded so much that the board has bent in itself. This must be to do with moisture intake, but why should this be when there is plenty of airflow beneath the floor
