Product use-by-date

Apologies if this has turned up before but not found by me.

The only product i have found that is really sensitive to the above is expanding foam (won't give make as I am not in UK ) really do find this useless within weeks of expiry date.

On other hand have had packs of Hilti anchor cement still good ( i.e. still flexible)five years after date,.

Obviously have to say that for things like the Hilti, although still soft, no way of ascertaining fixing power.

Ive used out of date resin in the past, takes longer to go off than it should.
Adhesives, wod glues, especially the PVA types seem to go off, they turn a creamy colour and loose bonding power.
Sealants aswell, most seem to loose the smoothness after date.
