Hi there,
The plumber who recently fixed our boiler told me that really the system just needed some inhibitor fluid put in it, but as he didnt have any on him he told me how to do it, no problem.

Having looked in the screw fix catalogue there seem to be 4 products that all sound useful: (all no nonsense products)
Inhibitor fluid
Boiler noise reducer
System cleaner
Internal Leak Sealer

I figure our system could probably do with all of them, to be on the safe side, however can I just throw them all in in one go? Should I wait in between each one? Is it a stupid idea to use them all???

Thanks

chris

no nonsense products are crap buy sentinel or fernox products.
what is it that your system is suffering from ?
if your plumber has told you Inhibitor fluid just get that.

thanks for brand advice, that's useful.

system isn't suffering with symptoms other than just being old really.
i figured it wont have been cleaned for a long time and might benefit from some of that. boiler is noisy, but its a combi and whilst it might be nautrally loud I wondered if that stuff might help a little (worth I try I thought maybe) and whilst there are no noticable leaks, I thought better safe than sorry!!!

Best just to do the inhibitor or will the others be a benefit perhaps?

chris
