Proline DW12 not working

Hi, I have a Proline DW12 dishwasher which won\\\'t switch on when the door is shut. If i open the door the power light comes on but as i go to shut it, it goes off, any idea what this could be. We ended up buying a second hand dishwasher after this which is also broken, so we\\\'re desperately trying to get one of them fixed

One of neighbours has recently found the same problem with theirs, did you manage to find a solution for the Proline DW12 in the end?

When I went round to have a look the water hadn't drained off either, now resolved that, but still looking to fix the power prob

sounds like a broken wire in the ribbon cable

5 months later, i doubt they care, i believe its forum rule 20
