Anyone had any experience of explosive igition on these?. New one installed 3 months ago fires up with a bang intermittently. Have removed blue jumper to reduce ignition fan speed but customer still not happy. Working pressure 20.6, co2 ratio 8.2
on the earlier promax boilers removing the yellow jumper stopped explosive ignition...but this may have changed , the blue reduced flow max temp.. but im not sure about new promax as i've only had lockout probs with theses due to dodgy electrode shorting out.
Its the new one with the pcb contained in a sealed black box, it may well be an electrode problem and I might give them a whirl before sending it o back to the manufacturer.
Did some houseing association work fitting baxis with same proplem, and Baxi sent some round discs to slide over the spark electrode to stop arcing against the support frame, this was about 6 months ago and since rectified
