Propagating a Hazel bush

Is it possible to propagate a hazel bush in the same way as willow can be propagated from willow stakes.

Having coppiced a massive hazel bush I have a large quantity of 2 to 4 inch diameter wood that could be made into stakes and a length of post and rail fence where I would like a hedge of some sort.
