I need to clear a room of furniture and misc items that has some signs of black mould on the walls and another room (garage) with possible asbestos in the roof.

Could someone recommend the proper masks that should be used in these instances? Preferably one that fits both circumstances and can be used multiple times? Or disposable ones that are cheap enough to actually be disposable!

Any advice much appreciated.

Any branded FFP3 disposable mask from a reputable supplier, should be suitable for both black mould and light asbestos exposure.
Although non-disposable respirators are great and far more comfortable to wear; they need cleaning and looking after to avoid cross-contamination for the next use.
For a one-off job, disposable masks (get valved ones), are probably more suitable.

Having a garage with asbestos on the roof shouldn't cause any concerns, unless broken pieces are disturbed.
Having said that, wearing a mask and disposable work suit, is a sensible precaution for any dusty work.

If you really think there is asbestos, keep it damp while you are removing it, much less dust that way, so a lot less airborne hazard.
