Protecting cables in walls....

Do I need to protect a shower cable (10mm) burried in plaster with metal shield to comply with regs?


The cable runs up the entire length of the bathroom wall, 3 inches from the corner behind the door.

You might have to run it in earthed metal conduit if its not in a safe zone, never mind capping.

Within 3 inches of the corner is in the 6 inch safe zone, surely, so no problem.
